Happy National Different Colored Eye Day!

This day was founded by Joan Quinn of B Able, Inc. This day recognizes those who have two different colored eyes. Those select few who have two different colored eyes have a condition called heterochromia. There are three different types of heterochromia: complete, partial, and central. Complete heterochromia is when one iris is a different color from the other. Partial heterochromia is when part of one iris is a different color from the rest of the iris. And lastly, central heterochromia is when an inner ring is a different color than the rest of the iris. Most cases of this condition are found to be hereditary, which can be caused by a disease, syndrome, or due to traumatic injury as well.

Since we are on the topic of different colored eyes, if you are someone who has always thought about trying colored contacts, stop by one of our Good Looks Eyewear stores and see if colored contacts are a fit for you! You can choose from our unique selection of colored contact lenses, which ranges from royal blue to sterling grey!

Today, we celebrate those with a one of a kind uniqueness.
